Jon believes in keeping a strong focus on preventive law; developing policies and practices to avoid costly disputes, and litigating only when required. Since the beginning of his law career in 1992, Jon has successfully litigated cases from intake through appeals, including discovery and depositions, law and motion, jury trials and bench trials, and he has successfully reversed trial judgments on appeal. He has advised and represented parties in litigation throughout the southland, including courts in Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, and Ventura County.
In addition to employment law, Jon advises and represents clients on selective disputes ranging from business and contract disputes to real estate litigation matters. He is a certified mediator and periodically volunteers his time to mediate and resolve lawsuits filed with the court. Jon also volunteers his time through the National Ski Patrol in the local Southern California mountains, a service he has enjoyed doing since 1999.
Rebecca is similarly dedicated to protecting businesses from costly labor claims and employee litigation. She conducts independent investigations of employee discrimination and harassment complaints for companies with 10 to over 25,000 employees.
